After graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Cecilee worked with NEURO Tour Physical Therapy as the full-time resident physical therapist for the Broadway national tour of Wicked: The Musical and Dirty Dancing. As the sole medical provider on staff, Cecilee was responsible for injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment of all touring company members.
After touring for 4 years, she accepted a position as the co-director of education where she was responsible for training all new touring physical therapists, continuing to treat Broadway shows, providing onsite coverage for local performing arts groups, and instructing injury prevention seminars for new Broadway companies. While in this position, Cecilee worked with over 50 Broadway shows and national tours. She also worked as a concierge physical therapist for film stars, stunt performers, and TV personalities. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Cecilee created and instructed in three accredited continuing education courses focusing on performing arts PT and dry needling techniques.
Since transitioning from full-time performing arts PT, this experienced physical therapist has been working as an outpatient provider with a focus on sports and orthopedic conditions. Cecilee’s clinical interests include dance medicine, vocal treatments, sports, orthopedics, manual therapy, injury prevention, non-operative rehabilitation, and TMJ dysfunction.
On her off days, Cecilee enjoys spending time with her husband and friends, visiting her family in Florida, traveling, going to Broadway shows, working out, and outdoor activities.

I injured my ankle two weeks before a ballet performance. Cecilee was just who I needed to see.She has a background in ballet, so she knew the kinds of movements and stress that I would be putting on my ankle. She was able to provide therapy and advice specific to those movements. She helped us create a plan for therapy, practice, and rest that allowed me to complete my performance. She went above and beyond for me, including extending her hours to work in a therapy session, and responding to questions after hours. Wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing to your PT visit; If applicable, your clothing should allow for visualization of the injured area.
The simple answer is NO. In the state of Georgia you can go to a physical therapist without a doctor’s referral. Exceptions may apply if your insurance requires a referral.
Your first PT visit will include a thorough evaluation of your complaint/injury. The therapist will then work with you to formulate a plan for treatment. If time permits, you will receive treatment on your first visit as well.

Fusion has been treating me for a chronic shoulder tendinitis problem and inside of a few visits, I can feel substantial progress.
